Yotis Tonnelier Joins TSF as an Advisor

Welcome Yotis as one of our advisors at The Scale Factory! A seasoned venture investor, strategic advisor, and operator, Yotis has spent the past decade scaling technology companies across North America, Europe, and LATAM. As Managing Partner of Nova Ventures, he leads investment execution, LP development, and founder advisory with a hands-on, globally connected approach. His work spans B2B SaaS, AI, fintech, deep tech, and proptech, supporting companies like Wise, HubSpot, Mercury, and Aircall.

Before Nova, Yotis co-founded YOBE Ventures, deploying $10 million in direct investments, raising over $72 million in follow-on capital, and backing 14 international companies. His portfolio includes four successful exits and an impressive 14.6x realized MOIC since 2016. Reflecting on his journey, Yotis shared, “I’ve always believed that scaling isn’t just about capital, it’s about strategic alignment and hands-on execution.”

His expertise also includes his role as Head of Tech Investments for the Family Office of HRH Prince Nawaf Bin Abdullah Al Saud, where he led $36 million in early-stage European investments, achieving a 21× portfolio return. Earlier, as Head of Investor Relations at BBVA Private Equity (U.S.), he supported Series C to Series E fundraises for growth-stage private equity strategies. Yotis is also a two-time founder with successful exits in the fintech and consumer sectors, bringing a founder-driven perspective to his investment work.
