The Scale Factory raises US$775K in an oversubscribed funding round
TSF is thrilled to announce an oversubscribed raise of US$775,000 to help accelerate expansion across the region.
“Despite a challenging macro environment, we were pleased to experience high demand amongst investors leading to a rapid and oversubscribed fundraising. We believe it was due to our unique business model combined with the rapid and profitable growth we have demonstrated the past 2.5 years” said Managing Partner and co-Founder Pierre Maartensson.
Backed by an impressive lineup of investors including serial entrepreneurs and investors The Scale Factory has their eyes set on becoming the #1 platform for tech companies to unlock and realise the APAC growth opportunity.
As Magnus Grimeland, Founder and CEO of Antler puts it: “The services provided by The Scale Factory are highly sought after and necessary within the APAC start-up ecosystem. Our region has grown fast in terms of funding start-ups, now there are a whole range of scale ups out there that need to take the next step and accelerate their growth. I’ve seen that The Scale Factory has built the necessary playbooks and capabilities to support scale-ups. This is why I am excited to be an investor’.”
Founded in 2019 by two serial entrepreneurs, The Scale Factory supports B2B tech companies to scale their business in the region through a system of sales and marketing initiatives powered by tech and network orchestration. Once their Clients achieve accelerated commercialization, The Scale Factory invests back their fees into equity to further strengthen the partnership.
“While Singapore will remain our home-base, we believe that our Clients will benefit greatly from a local presence in Australia and Indonesia. So we decided to raise a small round to expand our geo footprint into these markets and continue our profitable growth journey” said Managing Partner and co-Founder Lars Bjoerge.
Over the last 2.5 years The Scale Factory has supported the growth of 18 companies in the region, including brands such as:
HireQuotient - HR talent assessment
Cavai - Conversational marketing
Pickatale - English language learning platform
Zyllem - Logistics management
Skuad - HR platform for remote teams
Flow - Campaign site creation
The news was also picked up by news outlets, including e27 in Singapore and Shifter in Norway (in Norwegian).
