Meet Michael Ferrer, Business Development Rep for Buynomics

Some careers are built around one industry. Michael’s has been about finding the places where industries change. From Uber to Airbnb, and most recently Seraf, founded by the creator of NetSuite CPQ, he’s spent more than 15 years helping companies scale by combining agility, data, and strong client relationships.
That path has now led him to The Scale Factory, where he’s joined as Business Development Representative supporting Buynomics. As he explains, “With over 15 years in sales and a recent focus on AI at Seraf, I’ve seen firsthand how technology can drive business success. Buynomics’ approach to using AI to solve a core business problem like pricing is incredibly innovative. I was drawn to the opportunity to work at the intersection of AI, data, and business strategy, and contribute to a company that’s truly changing how businesses operate.”
When it comes to business development, Michael takes a practical view. “What really moves the needle is focusing on results and solving a clear business problem,” he says. “It’s about being a trusted advisor, using the right tools, staying responsive, and building long-term relationships that help clients go beyond their goals.”
Away from work, he keeps his energy up through strength training and Muay Thai, and loves exploring new places through their food. “Traveling and trying new cuisines gives me a fresh perspective,” he says.
