Joining The Scale Factory felt like a natural step for Aaron. “The Scale Factory has a unique offering, and their vision for 2025 and beyond really appealed to me,” he says. After spending more than 25 years in the agency world, Aaron was ready for a new challenge—one that involved working with innovative adtech and martech Clients.
A Defining Period in His Career
Aaron’s 20 years in China had a big influence on how he approaches scaling businesses. “It was a cash machine for Clients and agencies alike,” he recalls, thinking back to the rapid growth of the 90s and 2000s. The fast-paced, unpredictable market taught him valuable lessons about navigating growth, which he’s now bringing to his work in Dubai and the Middle East. “It gave me a deep understanding of how to handle expansion in dynamic environments,” he explains.
Navigating New Markets and Helping Clients Succeed
When it comes to entering new markets, Aaron highlights the importance of understanding the local culture and fostering meaningful relationships. “You need to really get to know the culture and make the right connections,” he says. This cultural insight, along with his broad network, enables him to help businesses expand into the Middle East, APAC, and Europe. His strategic approach is grounded in connecting the dots between local culture and business relationships, which is key to scaling in new markets.
His Passion
Outside of work, Aaron has a passion for golf. “I’m obsessed with the game,” he admits. Whether he’s playing, watching, or even dreaming about it, golf brings him joy and focus—traits that also help drive his professional work. That same dedication and love for the game are what motivate him to help clients scale and succeed.
