David Soukhasing is the Founder and Managing Director of ANGIN Investment, operating the largest early stage investment network in Indonesia and ANGIN Advisory, management consulting company in the field of entrepreneurship in Indonesia. He is also a Partner at Teja Ventures, leading Singapore/China based VC which pioneered the field of investing in the “She Economy” in Asia. Over the last 9 years in Southeast Asia, David has managed more than 110 early stage investments in the region and helped more than 50 investment firms make their entry in Indonesia.
In his previous life David was working for several Private Equity firms, startups and also VCs with operations in Europe and Southeast Asia.
David is also an Advisor for several organizations: United Nations, World Bank, OXFAM, Indonesian Government among others.
He likes to spend his private time searching for new playgrounds: mountaineering in Afghanistan or riding motorbikes in the deep jungle of Laos...
